Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Rapid troubleshooting so as to minimize downtime on failed equipment.
• Develop good understanding of Diamond Turning Equipment (including all machines and metrology equipment and any system that supports DT functions)
• Preventive maintenance program for the Diamond Turning production and auxiliary equipment
• Handle all equipment calibrations (Internal and external)
• Maintain Equipment spart part listing and consumption
• Lead/participate Lean/6S program
• Establish training manual, work instructions and troubleshooting guide

Education & Experience

• A bachelor’s degree in preferably Electrical& Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, related engineering or its equivalents with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in equipment servicing

Skills

• Well developed fault isolation, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Able to interpret electrical circuitry, schematic diagrams, mechanical design etc, knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic system will be added advantage
• Ability to manage a major project from conception to finish.
• Working knowledge of modern computer integrated manufacturing systems and statistical process control is advantageous.
• Well developed oral and written communication skills.
• Simple tools, jigs and fixture design capabilities.
• Ability to investigate, discover, transfer, and ability to use Autocad or other computer design softwares to help in engineering design tasks.

Other Requirement

• Must commit to Overseas Training estimate duration of 10 weeks at Coherent site in United States/Philippines for future date. Training bond 1.5 years will start from date of return from overseas.
• Non-color deficiency required to check optics quality
