Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Supports all Innovion process equipment and sites.
  • Supports maintenance staff and process engineering.
  • Works with vendors, second source part supplier, machine shops. and OEM equipment makers to optimize equipment performance.
  • Drives retrofits and upgrades to maximize implanter performance.
  • Works toward defectivity and cost-of-ownership reduction as well as other continuous improvement programs.
  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety and Security requirements and programs.
  • Due to ITAR compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, Permanent Resident Alien, or Protected Individual per 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

The ideal candidate will possess the following education and experience:

  • BS Engineering or Some College and 10+ Years of Experience.
  • Previous experience in ion implantation or semiconductor equipment utilizing Ultra High Vacuum (UHV) technology; 5+ years preferred.
  • Language Fluency: Fluent in English Language, written & verbal.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, energetic and self-starter.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with all levels of the organization and experience in working with external constituencies.
  • Strong organizational skills along with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business need.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and commitments. Individuals will be and must be able to understand complex automated systems and human interactions.
  • Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all information.
  • Comply with current and updated policies and procedures.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities involving external and internal priorities
  • Ability to excel in a cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment
  • Handle special assignments promptly and professionally
  • Set a high standard of ethics, professionalism, leadership, and competency
  • Proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Working Conditions

  • Semiconductor Fab type Cleanroom and Grey Room (Chase) conditions
  • Strict adherence to cleanroom and safety protocols

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a hands-on lab environment for assigned work schedule.
  • Must be able to lift weights in accordance with standard NIOSH/OSHA Limits (e.g., 35-50 pounds in real world optimum conditions).

ITAR/EAR and Other Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, or protected individual).
  • Compliance with all applicable export control regulations.

Safety Requirements

All employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.

Depending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
