Equipment Coordinator

The Equipment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the preparation of bulk materials, ensuring accurate weighing and handling of raw materials. This role requires a strong focus on safety and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raw Material Weighing: Accurately weigh and prepare bulk raw materials for production, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Equipment: Regularly inspect and perform daily verification of weighing equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of raw material weights, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety regulations.
• Collaboration: Work closely with production teams to coordinate bulk material preparation schedules and ensure timely availability of materials.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment for all team members.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred.
• Experience: Proven experience in equipment operation, preferably in bulk material handling or similar industries.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficient in using weighing and measuring equipment.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks as required.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Accurately weigh and prepare bulk raw materials for production, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct routine basic maintenance and repairs on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production team members to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to production schedules.
• Perform quality control checks and document results to ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Assist in the implementation of process improvements and operational efficiencies.
• Provide technical support and training to production staff on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of basic maintenance activities and production data.
• Participate in safety audits and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to stay updated on industry best practices and technologies.
• Comply with Halal requirements in production.
• Participate in the HACCP method implementation.
• Ensure training of production team members on his/her expertise field.

Basic Production Operator Tasks:

• Accurately weigh and prepare bulk raw materials for production, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document production data and report discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards during production.
• Be available to work on different shifts and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
