We seek a professional Equipment Broker skilled in communication, negotiation, follow-up and follow-through to lead organization efforts to continually & effectively turn over equipment rental fleet assets. You will connect USM to buyers of aerial construction equipment, facilitating transactions of new and used machinery, vehicles, and related parts. You will broker our rental fleet asset’s sale, and also arrange related inspections, marketing, negotiations, logistics and financing on behalf of USM ReRents.
US Markets, Inc. (dba “USM ReRents”) is the leading aerial lift equipment re-rental company in the US, renting straight & articulating booms, ultra-booms, compact atrium crawlers & spider-lifts, and heavy-capacity telehandlers to large equipment rental yards/companies all over North America (who, in turn, rent these booms and lifts to the end-user - a construction contractor). We are an established, growing organization at the top of its construction equipment rental industry niche.
Essential Responsibilities (What You Will Do) …
Find buyers for USM –aggressively seek out parties interested in a specific piece of new or used equipment (e.g., an ultra-boom, a spider lift, and/or a telehandler) and successfully connect them to USM for transactions both in the now and in the future.
Facilitate transactions -oversee the entire process (from initial inquiries to final sale), including documentation, inspections, and logistics.
Provide market expertise -understand current market conditions, including pricing and demand for various equipment types.
Negotiate deals -work to find mutually agreeable terms for USM as a seller.
Manage relationships -build and maintain relationships with potential buyers, fostering long-term partnerships.
Arrange Inspections - arrange for inspections to assess the condition of the equipment.
Marketing -market equipment through various channels, including online platforms and industry publications. Work synergistically and respectfully with our Marketing Specialist.
Shipping and logistics -coordinate the transport of equipment to the buyer's location.
Financing- take related input/direction from the USM finance and accounting function. Where pertinent, suggest financing options to buyers of new (unused) USM equipment.
Negotiations -negotiate prices, payment terms, and other of the equipment or parts sale on behalf of USM.
Documentation - prepare and manage necessary paperwork (i.e., sales agreements & shipping documents).

Minimum Requirements (What You Must Bring) …
Viable job candidates will possess demonstrated skills in keeping oneself organized, in time management, and in follow-up and follow-through. They will have proven abilities in attention to detail and in customer service. They will possess the ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing), and a willingness/ability to take pro-active actions.
Also required are abilities to prepare reports, and to read, interpret and communicate equipment drawings and specifications.

*** Compensation will include a base salary plus commission structure commensurate with a person’s specifically-related experience.
