Responsibilities & Duties
• Design and develop a common layer in the ZNT PAC environment using the Java development environment.
• Develop and maintain Equipment Automation Interface solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS/GEM and GEM300 protocols.
• Integrate the Recipe Management System (RMS) with the Equipment Automation Interfaces
• Help with migrating the legacy Recipe Management System (RMS) solution to a newer RMS solution.
• Test and validate the code using GitHub
• Test the Automation code using a Simulator software, which mimics a Fab Tool (Experience with SECSIMPro simulator software is a Plus)
• Troubleshoot problems by looking into the Equipment Automation Interface logs in a time sensitive environment
• Collaborate with the Team members to come up with solutions to improve the efficiency of the factory
• Meet and collaborate with business for obtaining requirements
• Provide after-hour support based on a rotating on-call calendar

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related technical field or relevant experience in the field
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of SECS/GEM (SEMI E4, E5, E30, E37) standards is a plus.
• Software Skills: Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming System in languages like C#, C++, Java , Python
• Collaboration tool: SharePoint, GitHub
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of experience in S/W Lifecycle Mgmt which includes the end-to-end management of a software application from initial conception and planning through development, testing, deployment, and ongoing maintenance
• Key Skills: Strong Programming and Troubleshooting skills, Good Communicator, Writing and Maintaining Technical Documentation, Ability work in a dynamic environment
• Due to company’s involvement in government related products, only Citizens are eligible for this position
• Nice To have knowledge or experience with:
a. Software installs / languages
b. Manufacturing Execution System
c. Semiconductor Industry
d. AI Model Development
e. SOX compliance requirements
a. Jira and Confluence are a plus.
