Stellantis' On-Board Diagnostic Calibration Engineer will have the opportunity to develop new diagnostic strategies for electric, engine, and hybrid propulsion control systems. The Diagnostic Calibration Engineer will be able to review system and software designs, generate test plans, manage vehicle/test-bench/virtual resources, and both develop and validate compliant calibrations for future propulsion system programs. The candidate will work cross functionally with hardware development, controls and software development, program management, test fleet support, vehicle and compliance teams. They will guide instrumentation of electrical and physical systems, utilize and review data from acquisition software (INCA) to ensure that desired diagnostic behavior is achieved. The engineer will gather functional requirements as well as required milestones to plan and execute development to achieve on-time successful product launches. Projects include working on new technologies on electrified propulsion systems requiring the understanding of distributed control architectures, engine & electric motor control, interactions with energy storage and management systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in diagnostics calibration or controls development and previous experience with electrified propulsion systems. The candidate should expect to travel 1-4 weeks throughout the year for system validation/verification.
