As a Security Officer Armed Patrol College Degree in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a government law enforcement environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to emerging situations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and members of the public at a government law enforcement location by carrying out armed security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and coordinating with appropriate law enforcement personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and screen or verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures; report suspicious activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Possess a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military, and/or corrections experience.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
