We are embarking on a continuous improvement and digital transformation journey. The BORA (meaning “better” in Swahili) program aims at delivering a new ERP and EPM solutions for IATA that will enable it to deliver on their fiduciary responsibilities as well as deliver more value to the business.
The EPM Project Manager will be responsible for leading & supporting the successful delivery of the EPM workstream from vendor selection through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and business adoption. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, procurement, vendor management, vendors, systems integrators, internal technology teams and program management team to ensure the solution delivers the expected business outcomes and aligns with program objectives, architecture standards, and delivery commitments.
The role reports to the ERP Program Manager.
Project Delivery
Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of the EPM workstream within the BORA Program, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and business objectives are achieved.
Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and delivery roadmaps.
Monitor project progress, proactively manage risks and issues, and drive resolution through appropriate governance channels.
Ensure effective coordination between EPM, ERP, data, integration, security, reporting, and change management activities.
Stakeholder Management & Governance
Act as the primary point of coordination across Corporate Services, Finance, Business Teams, I&D, MDM, vendors, and Systems Integrators.
Lead program governance activities, including RAID management, status reporting, executive communications, decision tracking, and steering committee support.
Facilitate stakeholder workshops and discussions to drive alignment, resolve issues, and maintain delivery momentum.
Solution Delivery & Implementation
Coordinate the EPM solution selection process, including vendor demonstrations, evaluations, stakeholder engagement, and recommendation development.
Partner with business process owners and solution experts to ensure requirements, design decisions, and implementation priorities are clearly defined and managed.
Oversee solution design, integration, reporting, security, and implementation readiness activities, ensuring alignment with business and programme objectives.
Ensure implementation deliverables produced by vendors and systems integrators meet agreed quality standards and business expectations.
Testing, Deployment & Business Readiness
Lead planning and execution for testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), cutover, deployment, hypercare, and transition to support.
Coordinate business readiness activities, including training, communications, and adoption planning, ensuring successful implementation and operational transition.
Vendor & Partner Management
Support managing relationships with implementation partners, systems integrators, and software vendors, ensuring delivery commitments and quality standards are met.
Monitor vendor performance, contract deliverables, and service quality, escalating issues and driving corrective actions where required.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer engineering, information systems, business administration, finance, computer science, or a related discipline.
At least 5 plus years of experience delivering large-scale EPM, ERP, finance transformation, or enterprise technology programmes.
Proven experience leading end-to-end EPM implementations covering areas including but not limited to planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial consolidation, management reporting, and performance management.
Strong understanding of enterprise finance processes, including FP&A, financial governance, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, and reporting.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, including governance, risk and issue management, project planning, executive reporting, stakeholder engagement, and coordination of cross-functional teams.
Experience managing software selection, systems integration, implementation partners, and third-party vendors, with a strong understanding of solution architecture, master data, security, reporting, integrations, and data governance.
Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage senior executives and deliver effectively using waterfall, agile, or hybrid methodologies.
Fluency in written and spoken English. Project management certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, MSP, Agile, or SAFe, and experience with Oracle EPM, OneStream, Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud, or similar platforms are highly desirable
