Job Description

As an Epicor Prophet 21 Subject Matter Expert (SME) at Pierce Technology Corp, you will play a crucial role in guiding the implementation and optimization of the Epicor Prophet 21 system within our organization. This position involves collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure the effective utilization of the platform, driving continuous improvement, and providing expert insights to enhance business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary SME for Epicor Prophet 21, providing expert knowledge and insights to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
• Conduct system configuration, customization, and integration tasks to optimize the functionality of Epicor Prophet 21.
• Lead training sessions and workshops for end users to ensure proper usage and understanding of the system.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and best practices.
• Analyze system performance metrics and proactively recommend improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex issues related to the Epicor Prophet 21 system and provide timely resolutions.
• Stay updated on the latest features and updates from Epicor to leverage advancements for organizational benefit.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience working with Epicor Prophet 21 or similar ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of accounting, inventory management, and supply chain processes within an ERP context.
• Proven experience in system configuration, customization, and integration with third-party applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about business processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with various stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to facilitate training sessions and workshops effectively.
• Proactive attitude towards learning and adapting to new systems or technologies.
• Epicor certification is a plus.
