Epic EHR Trainer

San Jose, California

We’re hiring an Epic EHR Trainer in San Jose, California, who wants to grow their healthcare technology career while helping clinical teams work more efficiently and deliver better patient care.

You'll play an important role in helping healthcare professionals confidently use Epic EHR, Microsoft 365, and related technologies. From onboarding new employees to supporting system upgrades, you'll develop practical training that improves workflows, strengthens adoption, and supports quality outcomes.

• Take ownership of Epic training curricula, workflow guides, and educational resources.
• Serve as an Epic subject-matter expert and mentor to clinical and administrative teams.
• Collaborate with medical directors, clinical leadership, and Quality Improvement teams.
• Support Epic upgrades, workflow improvements, and healthcare quality initiatives.
• Help employees maximize Microsoft 365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive.

What makes you a great fit

• Associate's degree in IT, Health Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
• At least 2 years of Epic EHR experience developing workflows, documentation, and training programs.
• Strong understanding of Epic workflows and end-user support; OCHIN Epic experience preferred.
• Comfortable training clinical and nonclinical audiences using adult-learning principles.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, HIPAA standards, and training documentation.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of HEDIS and healthcare quality measures is valuable.
• Fluent in English; Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese language skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual salary: $75,000–$85,000
• Full-time employment.
