Role: Epic Credentialed Trainer with AI

Location: Hybrid, Houston, TX

Length: 7 Months

Description

Our client, a healthcare system in Houston, is implementing Abridge (a generative artificial intelligence platform designed for healthcare systems that automatically records, transcribes, and structures doctor-patient conversations into clinical notes) and needs two Epic Credentialed Trainers to help deliver training to the end-users prior to go-live, assist with go-live and post-go-live support.

Responsibilities:

• Classroom Training Facilitation
• Deliver instructor-led training sessions in person, following established curricula and learning objectives.
• Adapt facilitation style to meet diverse learner needs and maintain high engagement.
• Manage classroom logistics including setup, attendance tracking, and post-session feedback collection
• Exercise Book Facilitation
• Guide learners through structured exercise books during training sessions.
• Provide contextual examples, clarify concepts, and encourage active participation.
• Assess learner progress and provide feedback based on exercise completion and discussion.
• Learning Lab Facilitation
• Lead hands-on learning labs that reinforce classroom instruction through practical application.
• Ensure lab materials, equipment, and environments are prepared and safe for use.
• Support learners in troubleshooting, experimentation, and collaborative problem-solving.
• At the elbow support
• Provide at the elbow support during go-live via command center or rounding
• Update training materials and review feedback for training updates.
• Report any learner needs discovered during post go live support
• Deliverables
• Facilitation of 40+~ In learning training classrooms along with learning / drop in labs.
• Completion of session reports and learner feedback summaries
• Recommendations for continuous improvement based on learner engagement and outcomes
• Coordination with internal training teams to align content and delivery standards

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in adult learning facilitation and instructional delivery and experience in Epic and AI (ambient listening) technology/tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with structured training tools and methodologies (Familiar with Articulate and Captivate)
• Ability to adapt to dynamic classroom environments and learner needs

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Houston, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
