Staff Office (LOB/SO) organizations with development and implementation of environmental and occupational safety and health (EOSH) programs, processes, and procedures within their respective organizations.
The focus of this position is to provide Regional Occupational Safety, Health, and Environmental Resource (ROSHER) Program support to the FAA to improve the safety and health for employees, contractors, and visitors to buildings and offices associated with Regional Organizations in accordance with the latest version of FAA Order 3900.19.
Assigned tasks will include assisting each LOB/SO in various EOSH-related activities, to include: development and delivery of regulatory-required safety, health, and/or environmental training; performance of safety audits and workplace safety inspections at FAA facilities; development of comprehensive reports to convey EOSH regulatory compliance status to organizational managers and union representatives; analysis of EOSH reports to identify trends and to identify programmatic solutions; coordination, scheduling and hosting of quarterly occupational safety, health, and environmental compliance committee meetings (OSHECCOM), and perform investigations for mishaps and/or reported complaints of safety and health conditions at workplaces.
Ideal candidates will be familiar with the various FAA organizations, FAA facilities and LOB/SO mission requirements. Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate proficiencies in EOSH-related training, program development, and EOSH-related program tasks. The candidate will be required to report to the client office in Kansas City, MO at least 3 days per week and at least once annually at client facilities located in the FAA Central Region, which includes Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska and Iowa, or upon request by the client, at other FAA facilities across the county. There is opportunity of up to 25% telework and a requirement to be able to travel up to 25%.

Pay Range $73,450.00 - $132,775.00
