Job Description

Are You Ready to Make It Happen at Mondelēz International?

Join our Mission to Lead the Future of Snacking. Make It Matter.

You will be a key technical leader within the Mondelēz International Digital & Technology organization, responsible for designing, securing, and integrating the o9 Enterprise Operations Planning (EOP) platform across our global supply chain. You will drive architectural excellence and ensure seamless integration between o9, SAP, and non-SAP applications to enable world-class planning capabilities across NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions.

How you will contribute

You will serve as the Solution Architect for the o9 EOP platform, owning the end-to-end technical architecture, security framework, and integration landscape. You will work closely with business stakeholders, platform vendors, and internal technology teams to ensure that the o9 platform delivers scalable, secure, and high-performing planning solutions. Specifically, you will:

  • Design and govern the overall o9 EOP solution architecture, ensuring alignment with Mondelēz enterprise architecture standards and global technology strategy.

  • Lead the architecture and implementation of integrations between o9 and SAP (S/4HANA, ECC), as well as non-SAP applications including Trade Promotion Management (TPM) and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

  • Define and enforce security architecture standards for the o9 platform, including data governance, access controls, role-based security, and compliance with MDLZ information security policies.

  • Evaluate and recommend o9 hosting environment options (self-hosted vs. o9-managed cloud) for NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions, assessing trade-offs in performance, cost, security, and scalability.

  • Collaborate with the o9 product team and internal DevOps teams to optimize platform performance, minimize application downtime, and improve batch/FTB job scheduling strategies.

  • Provide technical leadership during solution design reviews, architecture governance, and key project milestones including Go-Live readiness.

  • Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, integration specifications, and technical documentation to support ongoing operations and future wave rollouts.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams — including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Finance, and IT — to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.

  • Identify and mitigate technical risks across the integration landscape and drive resolution of complex platform issues.

  • Stay current with o9 platform innovations, including Agentic AI capabilities, and assess applicability to MDLZ planning processes.

What you will bring

A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:

  • Solution architecture design for enterprise planning platforms, preferably o9 Solutions, SAP IBP, or equivalent supply chain planning tools.

  • Deep expertise in SAP integration architecture — including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA — and non-SAP application integration such as TPM and SAC.

  • Designing and implementing API-based, event-driven, and middleware integrations (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Azure Integration Services, or similar).

  • Security architecture principles including identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, network security, and cloud security frameworks.

  • Cloud infrastructure platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience evaluating hosting models for enterprise SaaS platforms.

  • Supply chain planning domains including Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and financial integration.

  • Communicating complex technical concepts effectively to both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.

  • Working in large-scale, global, matrixed organizations with multiple regional teams and vendors.

  • Agile and DevSecOps ways of working within enterprise program delivery.

More about this role

What you need to know about this position:

• This role supports the o9 Wave 1 – Demand program and subsequent wave rollouts across NALA, MEU, and AMEA regions.

• The Solution Architect will be accountable for the technical integrity of the o9 EOP platform, including all integration touchpoints with SAP and non-SAP systems.

• Close collaboration with the o9 vendor team, SAP CoE, and MDLZ enterprise architecture teams is essential.

• The role sits within the Digital & Technology function and reports into the o9 Program Leadership.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

• Hands-on experience with o9 Solutions platform configuration, data models, and APIs is a strong advantage.

• Knowledge of Agentic AI, machine learning, or advanced analytics capabilities within enterprise planning platforms.

• Experience with Trade Promotion Management (TPM) systems and their integration into planning workflows.

• Familiarity with MDLZ or FMCG/CPG supply chain processes is highly desirable.

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical engineering discipline. Engineering background strongly preferred.

• Professional certifications in Solution Architecture (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly desirable.

• SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – SAP Integration Suite) are a plus.

• o9 platform certifications or formal training, where available, are an advantage.

Job specific requirements:

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT/technology roles, with at least 5 years in a solution architecture capacity.

• Proven track record delivering enterprise platform implementations with complex integration landscapes.

• Experience working in global CPG, FMCG, or manufacturing organizations preferred.

Travel requirements:

• Occasional travel may be required to support regional deployments across NALA, MEU, and AMEA.

Work schedule:

• Full-time. Flexible working arrangements available in line with MDLZ policy. Must be able to accommodate cross-regional time zones as needed
