Expression of Interest – Tank Welders (UK Projects)
We’re inviting experienced tank welders to register their interest for upcoming tankage and heavy-industry projects across the UK. If you’re confident welding large industrial tanks, working to tight tolerances, and delivering high-quality workmanship on busy sites, we’d like to hear from you.
- Tank welding — welding shell plates, floors, roofs, nozzles, and structural components
- Reading and interpreting drawings — working accurately from detailed weld maps and fabrication plans
- Plate and structural fit-up — preparing joints, aligning sections, and ensuring correct tolerances
- Weld quality assurance — producing work that meets industry standards, NDT requirements, and project specifications
- Safe site practices — working professionally within heavy-industry environments alongside riggers, platers, and crane teams
Skills & Experience:
- Proven background in tankage, heavy-industry welding, plate welding or large-scale steel fabrication
- Competence in MMA processes depending on project requirements
- Strong understanding of weld preparation, distortion control, and structural alignment
- Ability to work confidently in demanding industrial environments
- Good communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Welding/Fabrication
- Valid CCNSG or equivalent safety passport
- Additional working-at-height or confined-space certifications beneficial
