Job Description

Auckland Airport is on the lookout for a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation, review, and negotiation of contracts for various projects and services.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with legal, regulatory, and organisational standards.
  • Work closely with project teams to understand project requirements and ensure contracts support their objectives.
  • Manage contract performance, including monitoring compliance and addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
  • Develop and implement contract management policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide training and support to staff on contract management best practices.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all contracts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or in a similar role, preferably within the construction or aviation sectors.
  • Solid understanding of contract law, procurement processes, and negotiation strategies.
  • Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in law, business administration, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
