Job Description

Expression of Interest – Platers (Tankage & Heavy Industry, UK)

We’re inviting experienced platers to register their interest for upcoming tankage and heavy-industry projects across the UK. If you’re confident working with large-scale steel structures, deliver precise plate work, and thrive on busy industrial sites, we’d like to hear from you.

What the role involves:

  • Plate fabrication – cutting, shaping, forming, and assembling steel plate
  • Tankage work – fabrication and installation of tanks, vessels, and heavy-duty structures
  • Reading and interpreting drawings with accuracy
  • Site installation – fitting, aligning, and securing assemblies
  • Safe, professional working practices in heavy-industry environments

Skills & experience required:

  • Strong background in tankage and heavy-industry fabrication
  • Ability to work from detailed drawings and specifications
  • Competence with fabrication tools and equipment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, safety-focused approach

Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plating/Fabrication
  • Valid CCNSG or equivalent safety passport
  • Additional welding or rigging certifications beneficial
