Expression of Interest – Platers (Tankage & Heavy Industry, UK)
We’re inviting experienced platers to register their interest for upcoming tankage and heavy-industry projects across the UK. If you’re confident working with large-scale steel structures, deliver precise plate work, and thrive on busy industrial sites, we’d like to hear from you.
What the role involves:
- Plate fabrication – cutting, shaping, forming, and assembling steel plate
- Tankage work – fabrication and installation of tanks, vessels, and heavy-duty structures
- Reading and interpreting drawings with accuracy
- Site installation – fitting, aligning, and securing assemblies
- Safe, professional working practices in heavy-industry environments
Skills & experience required:
- Strong background in tankage and heavy-industry fabrication
- Ability to work from detailed drawings and specifications
- Competence with fabrication tools and equipment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable, safety-focused approach
Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Plating/Fabrication
- Valid CCNSG or equivalent safety passport
- Additional welding or rigging certifications beneficial
