Expression of Interest – Metallurgists, Experienced Process Technicians, Fixed Plant Various

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from skilled and motivated individuals to join our operation at Queensland’s largest Gold Mine. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team in a dynamic and rewarding environment only 1.5 hours from Townsville

Positions of Interest:

We are seeking expressions of interest for the following roles:

• Metallurgists - Responsible for optimising plant performance, metallurgical accounting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experienced Process Technicians - Various levels - Operate and monitor processing plant equipment to ensure safe and efficient production.
• Fixed Plant - Various Levels - Conduct maintenance and servicing of fixed plant equipment to minimise downtime and maintain operational reliability.

About You:

• Degree or trade certification in metallurgy, mineral processing, mechanical/electrical maintenance, or related fields.
• Previous experience in gold or base metal processing operations is highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of processing plant operations, including crushing, grinding, leaching, and recovery circuits.
• Ability to troubleshoot plant performance issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• For maintenance roles: proven skills in servicing and repairing fixed plant equipment, pumps, conveyors, and crushers.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety standards.
• Knowledge of environmental compliance and sustainable mining practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Adaptability to rostered work schedules and willingness to work in remote locations.
• A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
