EOI Fuel Operators-267462

The Opportunity

Seeking expressions of interest from fuel operators, DIDO to Katherine.

In this full-time permanent role, you can expect the following:

  • Payment structure made up of base + Super + Overtime + Penalties + Allowances.

  • 4 hours paid overtime for travel.

  • Structured training and development program, prior experience in defence or the fuel industry isn’t required; you’ll be fully trained.

  • Secured key projects ensuring stable and consistent work with a focus on growth.

  • DIDO Darwin to Katherine.

Hours This role includes a mix of day, afternoon, and night shifts, with night shifts mainly during exercise periods (around 3 months each year). Shifts are 8 hours with a paid 20-minute crib break. Typical shift times are:

Day: 6am to 3pm

Afternoon: 3-11pm (20% loading on ordinary hours)

Night: 11pm-7am (30% loading on ordinary hours)

Duties include:

  • Safely operate and manage aviation and/or ground fuel installations in line with compliance requirements.

  • Monitor and maintain fuel quality through regular sampling and testing.

  • Ensure fuel quality, compliance, volume, and availability using systems like JFIMS and SCADA; ideal for someone comfortable with technology.

Requires

  • A valid driver’s licence (HR or HC desirable but not essential at entry).

  • Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
