Excavator Operators | Multi-Skilled Operators | Mobile Equipment Operators | Haulage Operators

We are inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced operators to join our open-cut, hard-rock gold mining operation at Queensland’s largest Gold Mine. This opportunity is suited to safety-focused, motivated operators looking to contribute to a high-performing production team.

This EOI will be used to build a talent pool for current and future operational vacancies.

Positions of Interest:

We are seeking experienced operators capable of safely operating one or more of the following:

• Excavator operators – production tasks operating up to 350T class diggers
• Multi-skilled operators- capability to operate across multiple equipment types
• Equipment Operators - Dozers, graders, loaders and other large mobile plant
• Large rigid haul trucks – 180T class trucking operations (Hitachi 3500/Cat 789)

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Safely operate heavy mobile equipment safely, productively, and efficiently in line with daily production schedules
• Maintain high standards of equipment serviceability, cleanliness, and routine checks to ensure operational readiness
• Follow all site-specific safety procedures, mining standards, and environmental requirements
• Report equipment faults, safety hazards, and incidents promptly to the Mining Supervisor
• Actively contribute to a positive safety culture by participating in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives
• Collaborate effectively with other operators, maintenance teams, and supervisors to achieve production targets
• Perform any other duties as directed by your supervisor to support operational requirements

About You:

Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years’ operating experience in a hard-rock open-pit mining relevant to their nominated role:

• Excavator Operators: Experience operating production and face excavators
• Multi-Skilled Operators: Demonstrated ability to operate two or more heavy equipment types including dozers and excavators
• Equipment Operators: Experience operating dozers (Cat D10), graders, loaders (Cat 992/993), watertrucks or other ancillary equipment
• Haul Truck Operators: Experience operating 180T class trucks (Hitachi EH3500/Cat 789)
