Job Description

Wood is inviting expression of interest for Experienced Commissioning Engineers (Various Discipline) for a large-scale offshore natural gas development project in Romania.

We are looking for:

• Electrical Commissioning Engineer
• Instrument Commissioning Engineer
• ICSS Commissioning Engineer
• Mechanical Commissioning Engineer
• Process Commissioning Engineer
• Subsea Commissioning Engineer

• Develop commissioning record (closeout) documentation throughout the project and submit documentation over to the project manager before substantial completion.
• Responsible for developing a well-thought-out documentation plan with the close-out information being collected throughout all of the project phases.
• Preparation of project documentation including pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures. Provides input to operational procedures.
• Supervision of some site commissioning activities as appropriate including P&ID checking (system check/walk-down/punching), mechanical completion, pre-commissioning, cold commissioning (dry/wet), hot commissioning.
• Attends and participates in pre-start up safety review with client and construction contractor
• Supports management of site materials and logistics.
• Interface with Operations Team in commissioning, start-up and final turnover of the facility/plant.
• Provide leadership in health, safety and environmental (HSE) issues on site

• Technical Degree / Diploma
• Previous role experience in the Oil&Gas Industry
• Have broad and deep technical knowledge of commissioning and associated process
• Fully conversant with regards to discipline technical knowledge
• Proven experience of interpreting discipline documentation
• Ability to monitor work progress and report against the plan
• Eligible to work in EU
