MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Enterprise Operation Center (EOC) Systems Analyst to join our team in Arlington VA. This is a third shift (10pm-6am) position, working onsite
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Providing Tier II IT Systems support on a wide range of technologies, including VMware vCenter, Horizon View, Site Recovery Manager, SolarWinds, Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC), GEMOne, HP SANs, Certificate Services, DHCP, DNS, Active Directory, Group Policies and Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
Diagnosing and resolving the performance, security, and/or technical challenges related to the platforms listed above
Writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to accomplish repetitive tasks
Participating in processes throughout all phases of the ITIL Service Lifecycle, including submitting Change Requests
Performing requirements analysis, requirements gathering, and integration for all platforms listed above
Providing direction and guidance to less-experienced Systems Engineers
Investigating and resolving operational problems in conjunction with other engineering and technical personnel
Working on project teams responsible for engineering and packaging releases to integrate within the customer’s production IT environment
Willingness to work occasional nights and/or weekends to support system maintenance or service outages
Up to 10% travel within the continental U.S., to standup a new site or doing tech refreshing of old equipment, based on customer needs
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of related System Administration or Network Administration experience, or an Associate’s degree and 8+years of experience or a High School Diploma or GED with 11+ years of experience
An active and current DoD 8570 IAT Level II/8140 level Intermediate Certification required, e.g, Security+
An active and current DoD 8570 computing environment certification or the ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire is required, e.g, MCSA, VCP, or equivalent
Willingness to occasionally work after normal duty hours (nights and weekends) to support system maintenance or service outages
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2012/2016/2019 Servers; Microsoft Windows 10; administering Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, and workstation and server hardware; administering Microsoft Office 2010/2016; administering DNS, Group Policy, and PKI; administering vSphere, Horizon View, data backup, and antivirus software; basic networking including DHCP/TCPIP
Basic networking, CISCO networking devices. TACLANE encryption devices
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Systems, VMWare, and CISCO systems
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Windows systems, including DNS, Group Policy, and PKI
Good working knowledge of applying security best practices from DISA and/or vendors
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
Experience using a Service Desk ticketing system, such as Remedy or ServiceNow
ITIL Foundations certification
Scripting experience
Security Clearance Requirements:
US Citizenship required and active Top Secret clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years
Candidate must be open to CI poly
Physical Requirements:
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
