EOC Biomedical - Biomedical Apprentice
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Biomedical Apprentice maintains clinical equipment through the effective use of the Medical Equipment Management Plan. Performs a variety of routine tasks associated with the installation, maintenance, calibration and repair of a limited scope of biomedical equipment under the guidance and direct supervision of an experienced Biomedical Engineer/professional.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Education
High school diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum Work Experience
▪ Basic knowledge of the practices, methods, tools, materials, and equipment of the building trades.
▪ Basic knowledge of the occupational hazards of building trades and of necessary safety precautions.
▪ Skill in the use and care of tools and equipment of the building trades.
▪ Skill in operating Vehicles.
