Envite Bush Regenerator

Location: Lismore, NSW

Contract type: Multiple Casual Positions available

About the role:

This position is field-based and involves working as part of our local restoration teams. The successful applicant will deliver bush regeneration and revegetation projects. Activities will include herbicide application, manual weed work, erosion control and revegetation.

Essential Criteria

Only candidates that meet the criteria will be considered for this role.

• Minimum 1 year relevant work experience or equivalent voluntary experience
• Able to undertake manual labour and physically demanding tasks as required to support bush regeneration activities
• Good communicator, effective at working independently and as part of a team
• Understanding and ability to follow WHS policies and procedures
• Ability to use and maintain tools and equipment
• Reliable transport to be on time on site between 7:00 am and 4:00pm daily.
• White card- Construction industry OH&S
• Proven experience working with weed control, bushland maintenance and bush regeneration and native plant identification relevant to New South Wales

Licensing and Checks (Preferred/Willing to obtain):

• Current Driving License
• Construction Induction Safety certificate (White Card) or willing to get
• Police Check
• Blue Card/ Working with Children's Check (Where applicable)
• Qualifications in Conservation and Ecosystem management/ OR higher education
• Agricultural chemicals distribution control license
