The Entry Level- Environmental Technician supports environmental compliance and field operations by assisting with inspections, monitoring, sampling, and documentation activities. This role works closely with Environmental Specialists and Managers to help ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations across landfill, recycling, and waste operations.

• Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Assist with environmental monitoring activities including air, water, and soil sampling
• Support stormwater inspections and compliance activities in accordance with SWPPP and regulatory requirements
• Collect, record, and track environmental data and maintain accurate logs and reports
• Perform routine site inspections and report environmental or safety concerns
• Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste handling, labeling, and compliance procedures
• Help prepare documentation for regulatory reporting and audits
• Assist with maintaining permits, records, and compliance documentation
• Work with internal teams and supervisors to ensure adherence to environmental policies and procedures
• Participate in environmental training programs and safety initiatives
• Support special projects, site audits, and environmental programs as assigned

• Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field preferred
• 0–2 years of experience in environmental, industrial, or field-based work
• Waste Experience (Preferred not required)
• Understanding of environmental regulations (EPA, state agencies)

Pay $60,000 - $75,000
