What You’ll Be Doing

• Help shape and execute Synopsys' global sustainability strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
• Drive climate-related programs, including greenhouse gas emissions management, environmental goals, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Manage cross-functional sustainability data collection, validation, and reporting processes.
• Lead sustainability reporting and regulatory readiness efforts, including CSRD-E1, climate-related disclosures, and other evolving sustainability requirements.
• Develop and enhance sustainability data governance, controls, and assurance-ready processes supporting external disclosures and reporting.
• Support sustainability, performance management and reporting processes, including tracking progress and forecasting against Synopsys' environmental sustainability commitments and responsible business priorities.
• Manage environmental sustainability disclosures, external and internal assessments, benchmarking activities, and executive-level reporting preparation.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and partnerships, supporting environmental sustainability ownership, accountability, milestones, and measures of success.
• Monitor and assess emerging sustainability regulations, reporting requirements, industry trends, standards, and stakeholder expectations, and help translate them into actionable business initiatives and recommendations.
• Partner with Procurement and other key stakeholders to advance responsible supply chain programs, supplier engagement, and sustainability due diligence.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, business, engineering, supply chain, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, corporate responsibility, responsible sourcing, sustainability reporting, or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional sustainability initiatives in a global organization.
• Experience managing sustainability reporting, disclosures, external assessments, or regulatory readiness across multiple countries, regions, or regulatory environments.
• Experience preparing materials, analyses, and recommendations to support senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of greenhouse gas accounting, climate targets, and environmental performance management.
• Familiarity with supplier engagement, due diligence, or responsible supply chain programs.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-influence skills, including the ability to drive results without direct authority.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in the technology, semiconductor, software, electronics, or professional services industries.
• Hands-on experience using sustainability data management and reporting platforms and supporting ESG ratings, external reporting frameworks, reporting controls, or assurance readiness.
• Advanced degree or certification in sustainability, environmental management, business, or related field.

The Team You’ll Be Part Of

You will be part of the Responsible Business team and report to the Executive Director, Responsible Business. The team partners with leaders and stakeholders across Synopsys to advance sustainability priorities, strengthen reporting and governance, build resilience, and support the company’s broader responsible business objectives.
