Environmental Specialist
GSIis looking for a talentedEnvironmental Specialistto join our growing team! In this role, you will be overseeing and mitigating risks associated with the full program scope. We are seeking passionate, skilled, and experienced professionals to join a major program and construction management team that is dedicated to supporting a large government customer in successfully delivering on multiple projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating with the stakeholders and construction contractors;implementing environmental protection plans; coordinating and supervising environmental surveys, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Will spend a significant amount of time on site observing conditions and Contractor activities to ensure that environmental and permitting commitments are met, especially with regard to sensitive environmental areas.

Security Clearance Requirement:
This position at a minimumshall have a favorable fingerprint check and have the minimum tier 1 investigation initiated and completed to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)
Location:
Norfolk, VA
Mix of on-site work and telework, with the expectation that the personnel will be in person the majority of the time, at least 75%.
