Environmental Services Technician
Environment Services Technician performs general cleaning services for the Health System, assists in training other departmental employees, and practices excellent customer service skills.

2nd Shift: 5:00pm - 1:30am
Pay: based on experience, starting at $16.14/hour
Responsibilities
Assists in preparing meeting room setups., Assists in training new employees in the procedures as used in the departments operations., Collects trash and recyclables from assigned areas and deposits in the appropriate place for pickup and /or removal., Demonstrates productive use of time, equipment and supplies., Dust mops and wet mops tiled floors., Maintains assigned equipment in clean, operable condition, assists with preventative maintenance and reports repair needs to supervisor immediately., Maintains carpets by vacuuming, spot cleaning, and hosting as necessary., Mixes, uses and disposes of chemicals according to directions., Moves furniture on wheels, such as beds, chairs, and tables., Performs Transfer/Discharge cleaning as assigned., Polishes furniture, doors, chrome, stainless steel, etc., Responds to Code Speed, Plan D, Dr. Red, Plan W, Code Rush and Code Alert. , Shampoos upholstered furniture., Strips, waxes, restores and buffs tiled floors, as per standard operating procedures, to maintain standard., Washes windows and walls in assigned areas.
