Position Details:

  • Location:Wilmington Campus
  • Schedule:Day Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
    Includes every other weekendand holiday rotation
    Flexibility for off-hours as needed

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and support a team of Environmental Services staff to maintain a clean, safe, and attractive hospital environment
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance
  • Manage schedules, assignments, and daily operations
  • Promote a culture of pride, service, and excellence
  • Collaborate with hospital departments and participate in committees
  • Support quality assurance and accreditation efforts

What You Bring:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or college degree a plus)
  • 2–5 years of experience in environmental services required
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to motivate teams and maintain high standards
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and hospital procedures

Physical & Work Environment:

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Lift and pull objects up to 40+ lbs
  • Exposure to hospital environments with appropriate safety precautions

Hourly Pay Range: $22.29 - $33.44This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. The actual salary within this range offered to a successful candidate will depend on individual factors including without limitation skills, relevant experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
