Job Description

Full Time - Five evenings weekly 3 p - 11:30 p to include rotating weekends. Weekend shifts will be days 7 a - 3:30 p

The Environmental Services Supervisor maintains a high quality standard in housekeeping services by training, supervising and motivating the staff to insure all schedules are completed.

Experience REQUIRED:

Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor

Previous work experience in the following areas: facility floor plan and storage areas, 7-Step cleaning procedures, floor cleaning procedures, battery operated equipment cleaning procedures, spray buffing, carpet shampooing, wall washing, commercial vacuum operations, chemical use and dilution rates.

Experience PREFERRED: N/A

Education/training REQUIRED:

Must possess reading and writing skills and comprehend and communicate in English

Education/training PREFERRED:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Independent action(s) required:

Supervises the daily operations and employees in assigned work unit.

Job duties may include the handling, transportation, access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies

Supervisory responsibilities (if applicable):

Prioritizes workload/assignments.

Instructs and trains employees.

Completes employee performance evaluations.

Serves as liaison with departments to follow up on services.

Addresses employee performance issues (e.g. tardiness, absenteeism, etc.).

Additional position requirements:

Additional work hours and shifts maybe required based on staffing and departmental needs.

Will be required to work some holidays and weekends as determined by supervisor/scheduling requirements.

Compensation Range

$16.08 - $24.12

Actual salary offers will be based on several key factors to include relevant work experience, credentials, and qualifications.
