The City of Chandler Management Services Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Environmental Services Program Coordinator. The position is scheduled to work Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.. There may be some flexibility with the hourly schedule, which will be discussed after employment begins.
Current City of Chandler employees may only hold one position and are not eligible for additional part-time or secondary positions within the City of Chandler.

The Environmental Management Division provides environmental (air, water, stormwater and waste) compliance guidance and oversight to City operations and facilities. This includes management of the City’s Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Permit, review environmental due diligence for property acquisitions, maintain central environmental compliance files, and manage clean-up activities when environmental spills occur on City property and report to the proper regulatory agency.
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are seeking someone to provide complex technical and regulatory compliance guidance to City departments and divisions, with a primary focus on stormwater management and compliance. The position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and monitoring the City’s environmental compliance programs, with significant responsibility for the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program and associated stormwater permit requirements. This includes ensuring City operations comply with Federal, State, County, and Local environmental regulations and applicable stormwater regulations.

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
