THE JOB:
An Environmental Services Porter ensures the cleanliness and maintenance of our property while providing exceptional guest service, contributing to a welcoming and safe environment for everyone.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Maintain cleanliness throughout the property by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces in public and back-of-house areas

• Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and effectively, following established guidelines

• Assist guests with inquiries and ensure they have a positive experience

• Remove trash and recycling from designated areas, ensuring proper disposal practices

• Perform light maintenance tasks and report larger issues promptly to the appropriate department

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain required licensure through the New York State Gaming Commission

• Possesses strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with effective listening abilities

• Has previous experience in cleaning or maintenance, with knowledge of operating cleaning equipment safely

• Thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with guests

• Is detail-oriented, reliable, and works well both independently and as part of a team

• Excels in customer service and interpersonal skills, fostering positive interactions with guests and team members

Pay Rate

The rate for this role is:

$29.24

Pay is subject to review following 90 days of employment.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
