Position: Environmental Services Associate (ESA)

Location Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center, Philadelphia PA

Availability Immediate (Part-time position available)

Schedule (Must be willing and able to work weekends and evenings as may be required in performance of duties or requested to support the ongoing operations of the Kroc Center.)

Reporting Relationship: Facilities Supervisor

Salary and Grade: $15.00 per hour; 73 Non-Exempt

Responsibilities

The Environmental Services Associate will be responsible for the hands-on day-to-day cleanliness of the physical facilities of the RJKCCC, in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility as directed by the Facilities Supervisor/Facilities Manager or Administrator, to assure that the facility is maintained in a safe and clean manner.

The above list of job duties is not exclusive or exhaustive and the candidate will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

Qualifications

Must possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent; at least one year experience of professional cleaning experience. Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English. The successful candidate will possess working knowledge of cleaning supplies/equipment and tools of the trade. Must possess good interpersonal relationship skills; be a team player. Understand and be willing to extend superior customer service. This position requires the ability to work outdoors in adverse weather and ability to move about the Kroc Center freely. Child Protection Clearances PA Act 153 requires that all prospective employees complete the following clearance and background checks: PA Child Abuse History Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check and FBI Criminal Record/Fingerprint Check. Must have an understanding of and appreciation for the Mission of The Salvation Army.
