Position Environmental Services Assistant

Location: Numurkah

EFT/Hours: Causal

Status: Causal

Hourly Rate: $25.7421 - $ 27.0789 per hour plus 12% superannuation and casual loading if applicable

About the Role

NCN Health is seeking an Environmental Services Assistant to join the Numurkah team. The Environmental Services Assistant will be required to keep the hospital and nursing home clean and hygienic and maintain equipment used in achieving these objectives.

The position is also required to wash, dry, fold, iron and put away clothes for the nursing home residents. This person is responsible for ensuring that all equipment used is well maintained as per legislation.

About You

  • Vaccination against seasonal Influenza (mandatory)
  • Vaccination against Covid-19 (recommended)
  • Knowledge of the Victorian Cleaning Standards
  • Experience of working in a cleaning environment
  • Ability to learn new tasks on the job

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
