We have casual opportunities available for experienced Cleaners at BaptistCare Abbey Gardens in Warragyk

We are looking for dependable candidates who can work flexible hours to ensure high standards of hygiene and service are maintained.

  • Salary packaging up to $18,550 per year, meaning significantly more take-home pay on top of your hourly rate.
  • Flexible casual shifts (mornings, afternoons, and nights) across weekdays and weekends – shifts are 7.00-13.30, 7.00-15.00, and 12.30-18.00.

THE ROLE

The major accountabilities of the role are the efficiency of the cleaning tasks and the quality of relationships the incumbent has with residents, which in turn impacts the overall service standard and atmosphere of the facility.

Some of your tasks include:

  • Making residents' beds
  • Cleaning residents’ rooms, including ensuite, communal and administration areas of the facility
  • Removal and appropriate disposal of waste, including recycling where appropriate and placing of bins for collection

ABOUT YOU

If you have experience carrying out a range of domestic tasks to maintain hygiene standards in a home-like environment, then this is the role for you!

Some additional tasks you may be asked to complete will include:

  • Assisting with laundering the resident’s clothes and other items as required
  • Other tasks and errands are required to maintain a pleasant, caring, and safe environment for the residents
  • Restocking of linen trolleys and cleaning and paper products in all areas

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
