Job Description

Come Join our team! We are looking for an experienced Environmental Services Aide who will be responsible for floor technician duties. You will primarily be striping and waxing floors, cleaning the carpets, an general floor maintenance. May be assigned to work in a variety of assignments based on facility need. Environmental Services Aides are assigned to keep the facility in a clean and orderly condition. Assignments may include daily cleaning and supply tasks for patient and procedure rooms throughout the facility.

Pay Range $17.01-$21.702 per hour based on experience and qualifications (eligible for shift differential).

Shift Differentials:

Weekday Nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $3.00 per hour

Weekend Days - Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm - $3.50 per hour

Weekend Nights - Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am - $5.00 per hour

Requirements

High School diploma preferred.

• Ability to receive and understand verbal and written communications.

• High degree of attention to detail when completing assignments.

• Ability to engage with and work with other personnel and teams.

Typical duties:

· Cleans and services rooms, baths and other assigned areas.

· Cleans, mops and waxes floors, dusts furniture and equipment.

· Assists with laundry pick-up, sorting, folding and delivery.

· Assists in cleaning of emergency spill observed or upon request.

· Maintain assigned equipment for cleanliness and have repairs made when needed.

· Gather and dispose of refuse.

· Transport hospital equipment as assigned.

· Maintains an effective working relationship with Administration, Directors, physicians and their office staff, hospital staff, and vendors to ensure goals are optimized and that good working relationships are cultivated and retained.

· Other duties as assigned.
