Environmental Scientist position open for field support as follows (anticipated):
Work Description
Provide field operations for ambient air monitoring programs, and provide field support for other environmental testing programs, as-needed, such as for water quality and sources emissions. Ambient program field support will include operation of air quality monitoring (AQM) systems. AQM systems consist of multiple instruments at fixed and/or portable stations located in the community or near site facility perimeters providing continuous real-time measurements of meteorology and various ambient air pollutants including dust, Sulphur Dioxide (SO2), Nitrogen Oxides (NOx), Total Reduced Sulphur (TRS), Ozone (O3) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Data collection uses wireless communication to transmit data to remote data acquisition systems.
