PRACTICE is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to provide in-person Environmental Science tutoring to high school scholars. Whether you're a college student, recent graduate, or someone interested in exploring a career in education, this entry-level opportunity allows you to gain valuable classroom experience while helping scholars strengthen their academic skills and confidence.

As a PRACTICE Education Champion, you'll collaborate with classroom teachers to support scholars and create a positive learning experience.

Position Details

• Compensation: $27–$30 per hour
• Subject: High School Environmental Science
• Completion Bonus: Opportunity to earn up to 10% of total program earnings upon successful program completion, subject to eligibility requirements.

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one and small-group academic support in Environmental Science.
• Help scholars understand science concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for assessments.
• Work alongside classroom teachers to reinforce lessons and support learning goals.
• Encourage scholar participation, confidence, and academic growth.
• Maintain consistent attendance, professionalism, and communication throughout the program.

What We're Looking For

• Understanding of Environmental Science or related science subjects.
• Interest in working with high school students and supporting their academic success.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to explain concepts in an understandable way.
• Reliability, professionalism, and commitment to the established program schedule.
• A willingness to learn, accept feedback, and collaborate with educators.
• Previous tutoring, mentoring, teaching, or youth-development experience is a plus, but not required.
