Diamond Energy is seeking a motivated Environmental Products Officer to support the delivery and management of our environmental certificate portfolio. This entry-level role offers a unique opportunity to build expertise in renewable energy markets, with end-to-end ownership of certificate creation, registration, compliance, and settlement activities.

You will play a key role in managing Large-scale Generation Certificates (LGCs), Small-scale Technology Certificates (STCs) and emerging schemes such as REGO and PDRS, while supporting regulatory compliance with the Clean Energy Regulator (CER).

As the Environmental Products Officer with Diamond Energy, you will be responsible for:

• Manage CER accreditations for generation assets, including applications, variations, and compliance activities
• Create, register, and manage LGCs and STCs in the REC Registry
• Maintain accurate generation and metering data inputs
• Prepare and submit annual electricity generation returns
• Perform and reconcile third-party settlement calculations, including resolving discrepancies
• Oversee certificate transfers, trading support, and settlements with brokers and counterparties
• Support onboarding and implementation of emerging environmental schemes (e.g. REGO, PDRS)
• Engage with key stakeholders including CER, asset owners, and internal teams
• Ensure all activities meet regulatory and audit requirements

You will be successful in the role if you possess:

• Bachelor’s degree (completed or nearing completion) in STEM, Commerce, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Strong numerical, analytical, and Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Energetic and positive mindset.
• Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a supportive, fast-paced, and evolving team environment.
• Proactive approach with a strong sense of initiative.
• Exposure to renewable energy schemes (LGCs, STCs, RET) or CER processes
• Experience or coursework in energy markets, compliance, or settlements will be highly desired.
• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to follow-through and task completion.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• General IT proficiency, including experience with Outlook and CRM platforms.
• Genuine interest in the regulatory framework and operations of the electricity market.
• Understanding the basics of Energy Industry value chain is preferred.
