
Environmental Nursing Assistant - L9 Peds Med Surg 100% (40 hours/week) - (26004693)
The University of Iowa Health Care Department of Nursing is seeking a Nursing Assistant to perform specific tasks to assist members of the Nursing team in providing patient care under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Clean equipment, patient bedside area and nursing unitSet up rooms for patient admissionStock and supply patient rooms and Nursing unitPerform patient personal hygiene such as bathing, toileting, feeding, dressing, grooming and oral care for patientsAssist patients with bedpans, urinals and perineal cleansingTurn, position and ambulate patients Enter daily patient record charting in computer Transport patients by bed, cart or wheelchairTransport equipment, specimens and suppliesPerform basic CPR as requiredMaintain patient confidentiality Percent of Time: 100%
