Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities

• Individuals associated with services, projects or construction activities that manage EHS teams at multiple sites or operations (rather than those that spend the majority or all of their time supporting an individual service, project or construction activity). They may support a single business unit or different services businesses, but will tend to focus on specific customer business sectors (e.g. oil & gas, utilities, commercial, etc.) depending on their competency. In the Baker Hughes shared service, many of these individuals continue to primarily support the specific business they originally came from (in which case they generally have a dotted line report into the EHS leader of that business.) These management resources may be located in a region or at a site.*
• Develop elaborated proposals for changing processes and procedures assessing the impact on directly related processes/functions.
• Ability to communicate the broader picture to the team. Use of basic influencing skills to deliver on assigned goals.
• Service unit providing services to the function or directly to the business.
• Handles department work guided by procedures. Exceptional cases are resolved by choosing the right procedure.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety). Minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Customer Site Management.
