Salary Range: $90.00 - $100.00 Hourly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluation chemical and physical hazards within the organization to ensure compliance with Cal-OSHA Laboratory Standard
- Review and update policies, procedures and manuals
- Conduct physical inspections of laboratories, fume hoods, gas cylinders, chemicals, PPE practices, etc.
- Review chemical inventories, laboratory SOPs, training documentation, safety data sheets, inspection/audit findings
- Review IIP, EAP, chemical hygiene plan, job safety analysis, spill logs
- Review vendor contracts and waste manifests and chemical purchasing
- Research and recommend practical solutions for improvement of the program
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in environmental safety, occupational safety and health or a related field.
- Extensive knowledge of environmental safety regulations and policies and Cal OSHA laws and regulations.
- Seven to 10 years of related experience
