Job Description
Join our client team as an EHS Executive and help maintain a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will support Environmental, Health & Safety activities across the site, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate day-to-day Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) activities.
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Assist with compliance related to health & safety, environmental, fire safety, and security regulations.
- Coordinate fire safety checks, emergency drills, and first aid readiness.
- Monitor waste management, recycling, and environmental compliance activities.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of EHS records, reports, and documentation.
- Coordinate fleet compliance, equipment certifications, and statutory inspections.
- Support contractor inductions, permit-to-work processes, and contractor safety compliance.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigations, and corrective action follow-up.
- Deliver and promote EHS awareness and training initiatives.
- Support housekeeping, site security, and continuous improvement projects.
Requirements
- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or currently studying towards one.
- 1–2 years of experience in a Health & Safety support role (manufacturing or industrial environment preferred).
- Basic knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and environmental regulations.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work effectively across departments.
