This role requires a highly motivated individual committed to personal safety, environmental stewardship, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and the ability to support multiple functions while leading cross-functional teams. The position is responsible for overall site safety and key aspects of environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, execute, and ensure compliance with PepsiCo’s Environmental, Health & Safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Support the development and execution of the site’s annual EHS plan.
  • Partner with site leadership to drive effective implementation of EHS programs and initiatives.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate workplace hazards through effective risk evaluation and corrective actions.
  • Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and development of corrective action plans.
  • Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies (e.g. OSHA, EPA, and state/local authorities).
  • Coordinate and support the site-wide annual EHS training program.
  • Participate in formal reviews related to equipment modifications, new installations, engineering projects, and process changes.
  • Ensure all required regulatory permits are obtained, reports are submitted, and permit conditions (e.g., sampling, recordkeeping) are maintained.
  • Support the overall compliance of environmental programs (e.g. wastewater, waste management, spill prevention, etc.)
  • Lead and support site EHS committees and engagement activities.
  • Conduct and support internal and external EHS audits.
  • Utilize EHS management systems such as Ventiv, myEHS, and others as applicable.
  • Support Global EHS Management System (GEHSMS) reviews with program owners and stakeholders.
  • Manage third-party vendors as required.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant EHS records.
  • Conduct regular EHS audits, observations, and assessments on the production floor.
  • Support off-shift activities as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • The expected compensation range for this position is between $45,900 - $73,250.

  • Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Demonstrated passion for driving a strong EHS culture & continuous improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both leadership and frontline employees.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, & Outlook.
