As an Environmental, Health, and Safety Associate at Walmart, you'll be the backbone of our commitment to safety and compliance across our operations. You'll identify potential hazards, develop solutions, and work collaboratively with teams to create a safer workplace for everyone. Your expertise will help us maintain the highest standards of health and safety while supporting our associates and customers. You'll stay current on regulations and best practices, ensuring we're always ahead of the curve. This role offers real opportunities to make a tangible difference in how we operate every day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct safety inspections and assessments to identify risks and compliance gaps
  • Develop and implement safety programs and training initiatives for associates
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with health, safety and security regulations
  • Collaborate with store leadership to investigate incidents and recommend preventive measures


Work Schedule:

Shift: Monday - Friday from 6 am – 2 pm or Monday - Friday from 2pm – 10 am

Qualifications

What we need to see from you:

  • High school diploma or have 6 months of experience as a Walmart associate
  • You bring one year of work experience or coursework in safety, compliance, security or related fields such as military, public safety or criminal justice
  • You're detail-oriented, proactive and committed to fostering a culture of safety and accountability
