Could you be the full-time Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Administrator in Toronto, ON we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your organizational and safety-focused mindset in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and driven teammates.
You'll play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day administration and continuity of our Health & Safety Management System and Environmental Management System. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project managers, site teams, and office staff), maintain critical documentation, and assist in planning impactful safety initiatives, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of administrative duties, such as managing training records and preparing safety reports, but also contribute to on-site safety initiatives and audits to support professional development and program understanding.
We’ll look to you for:
Ensuring up-to-date digital and non-digital safety information boards
Preparing attendance lists and meeting minutes for various meetings, including Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) meetings
Supporting EHS training bookings, scheduling, and facility arrangements
Assisting in planning and developing events such as safety stand-down meetings and EHS campaigns
Preparing monthly KPIs, reports, and statistics
Maintaining employee training records, including proof of training, expiry dates, and training matrices
Conducting office EHS inspections and maintaining office risk assessments
Supporting PPE and safety supply inventory management
Participating in key initiatives such as mental health committees and office ergonomics improvements
Providing administrative support for health and safety claims and inquiries

Completion of formal university or college education
First experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety
Knowledge of Canadian EHS legislation
Familiarity with the construction industry (considered an asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and agility to learn other software systems
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Ability to travel to construction sites occasionally
Developed soft skills: initiative, teamwork, communication, and service-mindedness
Responsible and honest approach to work

Compensation
The expected compensation for this role is $75,000 – $90,000 CAD per year, plus benefits and eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience, and internal equity.
