Job Description

Clean Harbors in Guelph, ON is seeking a Field Service Technician to join their safety conscious team in Field Services! This role is associated with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, working in confined spaces and the handling of hazardous materials.

* This role is based out of our Guelph, ON head office - however, it requires flexibility to travel throughout Ontario.*

  • Perform environmental remediation, hazardous waste management, and chemical/water spill cleanups.
  • Conduct tank and vessel cleaning, including confined space entry and work at heights.
  • Complete labor-intensive field service projects and emergency response activities.
  • Safely use hand tools, pressure washers, and other powered industrial equipment.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment, including respirators.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
  • Valid Class G license with reliable transportation required.
  • Willingness to travel to various sites across Ontario as needed.
  • Previous labour or hazardous waste removal experience is highly preferred.
  • Industrial cleaning and chemical handling experience is an asset.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and moving materials.
  • Willingness to be trained for confined space entry and work at heights.
  • Must be clean-shaven when required to ensure proper respirator fit and use.
