Responsibilities

• Evaluate and oversee environmental aspects and impacts associated with hydrocarbon facilities.
• Conduct risk assessments, environmental impact assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Develop and implement sustainable environmental management strategies and plans specifically for hydrocarbon operations.
• Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and maintain necessary permits.
• Engage with external stakeholders, including government agencies and environmental organizations.
• Provide training and guidance to facility personnel on environmental policies and best practices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations relevant to hydrocarbon facilities.
• Prepare and present reports on environmental performance and improvement initiatives to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in environmental engineering, specifically with hydrocarbon facilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements in the Oil and Gas sector.
• Experience conducting environmental impact assessments and audits.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing environmental management systems.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to convey complex information clearly.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
