Company Description

Tradeweb is a global leader in electronic trading across asset classes. As financial markets become increasingly interconnected, our technology enables efficient, multi-asset trading on a global scale. We serve more than 3,000 clients in more than 85 countries, including many of the world’s largest banks, asset managers, hedge funds, insurers, corporations, and wealth managers.

Creative collaboration and sharp client focus have helped fuel our organic growth. We facilitated average daily trading volume (ADV) of more than $2.8 trillion over the past four fiscal quarters, topping $3.3 trillion in ADV for the first quarter of 2026.

Since our IPO in 2019, Tradeweb has completed four acquisitions and doubled our revenues – and 2025 was our 26th consecutive year of record revenues.

Tradeweb plays a central role in modernizing market structure by developing innovative trading protocols, embedding analytics into execution, and building technology infrastructure that supports the convergence of traditional and digitally native financial markets. Tradeweb is a great place to work, recognized in 2025 by Forbes as one of America’s Best Companies and by U.S. News & World Report as one of the Best Financial Services Companies to Work For.

As a technology-driven organization, we value individuals who embrace innovation and are eager to leverage emerging technologies, including AI, to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and deliver better outcomes for clients and colleagues. We believe the greatest impact comes from combining technological capabilities with human expertise, judgment, and accountability

Group Details

We are recruiting an Environmental Data Analyst to support the preparation, maintenance and assurance of our greenhouse gas (GHG) inventory. This is a data-driven role: the organization reports emissions across multiple cycles each year, to more than one set of stakeholders and under more than one assurance process, and the analyst keeps that data accurate, traceable and on time.

The role centers on four areas: data collection and validation across GHG inventory books; book maintenance, estimation and reconciliation; assurance evidence preparation; and controlled automation of repetitive analyses. The analyst independently executes clearly defined workstreams, while the inventory owner retains responsibility for methodology, quality control and final sign-off.

Job Responsibilities

  • Data collection and validation — run the multi-cycle collection process across GHG inventory, covering several hundred data points; validate figures, investigate prior-year and variance discrepancies, and keep internal data providers internal teams engaged and responsive.
  • Book maintenance, estimation and reconciliation — maintain the GHG inventory and the supporting carbon accounting systems; assist in producing interim full-year estimates from part-year data, reconcile to actuals, document variances and maintain version control so the correct figures reach the correct audience.
  • Assurance evidence preparation — prepare evidence and documentation for multiple external assurance processes, support walkthroughs, respond to queries and keep the full inventory and methodology documentation at an assurance-ready standard year-round.
  • Controlled automation — build and maintain tooling that automates repetitive analyses such as business travel, office attendance and ledger clean-up, and improve datasets, dashboards and reporting processes to strengthen data quality.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience in data analysis, sustainability reporting, environmental data or a related area.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with experience managing, analysing and reconciling large datasets
  • A strong data orientation — comfortable working with large datasets, spotting anomalies building repeatable, well-controlled processes.
  • Working knowledge of the GHG Protocol (basic or university-level is sufficient) and a interest or experience in sustainability reporting.
  • Confidence using technology and AI to automate repeatable work and build reliable tooling around routine analyses.
  • Strong attention to detail, initiative and reliability: able to take a task from instruction through to completion in a deadline-driven cycle, escalating issues where necessary.
  • A self-starter who is organized and capable of working independently while collaborating with global stakeholders.

Deep technical GHG expertise is less important than the ability to learn quickly, work methodically and build dependable processes, though a foundational understanding of GHG Protocol will be needed for the role.
