The Microsoft Datacenter Development Land Development and Community (LDC) team supports the development and delivery of Microsoft’s datacenter portfolio from site selection through design, construction and operations. This portfolio includes complex, large-scale, multidisciplinary datacenter construction and lease projects that are critical to expanding Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure. Within this organization, the Cloud Infrastructure Environmental Permitting team is s responsible for the development and on-time delivery of environmental permits to support construction of Datacenters needed to build out Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure.
The Environmental Compliance Program Manager (East) is responsible for leading environmental compliance strategy, execution, and risk management for Microsoft datacenter development, construction, and operational readiness activities throughout the eastern region. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local environmental requirements while enabling the successful delivery of critical infrastructure projects. The position serves as a key liaison among Land Development, Environmental, Design, Construction, Operations, EHS, Legal, Sustainability, Energy, and external regulatory stakeholders to proactively manage environmental obligations, mitigate risk, and drive continuous improvement across Microsoft's environmental compliance programs.
The Environmental Compliance Program Manager, America will be a key player in both the strategy development and execution of environmental compliance program for our projects. Environmental Compliance Program Manager, America is part of a team of environmental and permitting managers but works across the greater organization to drive an effective, fast and efficient environmental permit development process to eliminate gaps between teams and ensure continuous compliance with various environmental permits and approvals.

Real Estate Portfolio Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.
