The Team and Role:
The Environmental Compliance Engineer will be responsible for integrating and combining the product RoHS cert process which includes the execution of the marking guide for all products & accessories.

• Support Product Compliance Team and other engineering functions to address any environmental compliance or hazardous substance related issues on Logitech products

• Be responsible for worldwide RoHS certificate application and renewal for Logitech products

• Identify applicable environmental marking for new projects based on sales destination

• In charge of reviewing environmental markings for products and packages

• Ensure related changes are implemented on all impacted products before the effective date

Key Qualifications:
For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:

• Bachelor or master degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, science or chemistry related areas.

• 3 years+ work experience in the electronic industry and environmental related area for consumer electronic devices worldwide.

• In-depth knowledge of global environmental and product regulations, such as RoHS, REACH, WEEE, Packaging Directive, Battery Directive, Prop 65, TSCA, PFAS, and others.

• Strong experience with compliance certification processes.

• Familiar with SDoC maintenance and in-depth knowledge about legislation requirements including environmental marking.

• Familiar with consumer electronic devices.

• Passionate about compliance work, and willing to learn and conquer challenging assignments.

• Able to work in flexible hours.

• Fluent English in reading, writing, speaking and listening.
